Many of you know that during our game on May 6th we accepted donations to the Ryan Weitzel Fund. We had agreed as a Club that the Booster Club would match whatever donations were received that evening and forwarded them to the Foundation established to assist with the payment of medical bills. That evening we raised $292. The Hempfield Booster Club matched this donation resulting in an overall donation of $584. The Booster Club was approached by a member of our Hempfield Lacrosse family, who wishes to remain anonymous. He offered to match our donation of $584!!!!!!
So in total we were able to send $1168 to the Ryan Weitzel Fund.
